Vegas trip ended up not helping the budget... but I had a great time with my aunt and uncle! I really enjoyed getting to spend some quality time with them. Vegas was also very interesting! So many things to look at and do - we didn't even scratch the surface! We also got to see Tom Segura in person which was a treat because he is hilarious.

I wasn't able to accomplish many of my goals this past month. I am slacking pretty hard on my reading goals so my goal for April is to read 10 pages each day! That should help me to get back on track. I am scheduled to have 2 homes close this month and I should be getting my federal tax returns back which could be a $5000 swing if all those things happen! I found a nice budget hack this month which was to buy whole chicken and separate the meat myself instead of purchasing each piece separately. For the point of example, let's say I save $6 per chicken package. That could be a savings of almost $300 per year!

I also need to get back into my lifting routine. I hurt my neck a couple times this past month and with basketball/ work/ travel it was hard to stay consistent. Hopefully I can stay on track despite going to Mom's for a week in the middle of the month. I am almost done with the housing projects. I need to start hiring some of these out. Spring is coming soon and I can't wait!!

*Note: I now include equity in my primary mortgage in my assets because it is considered an investment.
