Surprisingly, despite just getting back from the 3 week European getaway, the net worth increased this month! Maybe it isn't so surprising because I was still getting paid throughout the month and my 401K showed a nice increase. The vacation was AMAZING! We went to Paris, Lucerne (Switz), Milan, Venice, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Florence, Rome, Capri, and Pompei. It was an extremely memorable vacation with plenty of amazing sights and delicious food. I might have to make a separate blog post about the whole thing, even though I already detailed every day in a journal. It's very surreal to come back home and sink right back into the same patterns that were here when I left. It also confirmed what my ideal life would look like someday: traveling and enjoying life.
For May, it will probably be expensive considering Mother's Day, a couple graduations, a couple birthdays, and part of the Italy expenses. On the bright side, sand volleyball is starting up so that should keep me busy and entertained. My goal is to start looking around for new jobs and learning about laundry mats.
*Note: I now include equity in my primary mortgage in my assets because it is considered an investment.
