Sadly, I am completing this entry in September (yikes!) so I will have a hard time recollecting what happened in May outside our big trip out West. Luckily I wrote every day that we were out there in my journal so I have that to go off of. I won't give all the details here, but I will give some. My girlfriend and I got in super late and stayed one night in Idaho. The next day we made our way down to Grand Teton National Park, but of course hiked along the way. The trail we picked was super difficult because it was still covered in snow and we were not prepared for that. We spent 3 days hiking in the Teton's which were incredibly beautiful. The mountains were breathtakingly gorgeous. We saw incredible wildlife including elk, moose, yellow-bellied marmot, and ospreys. Then, we made our way to Yellowstone for 4 days. We packed each day. We say tens of geysers, hundreds of bison, hot springs, bears, and a multitude of landscapes. Then, the last two days were spent in Bozeman where Lauren ran her Spartan race. It was an incredible experience.
