September proved to be another good month of savings. I actually hit my goal of saving 50% of my income! Frankly, the month went by way too fast. It seemed like the end of summer was here and gone in the blink of an eye. Volleyball season is wrapping up and I'm grateful to get some of my evenings back. I'm tired of running around every weekday and weekend. My net worth didn't increase by very much because my increased savings rate was offset by decreases in my 401K investments. That's OK though because those will eventually bounce back. This month looks to be another chill month so hopefully I can get on a streak of saving 50% of my income before the holidays hit.

I am still doing minor house projects and haven't start looking for my next property yet. Ideally, I would have found one already but I feel like the move might be to wait until February/ March so by the time I close, I can move in the spring. It will also give me the chance to save up more for a larger property.

*Note: I now include equity in my primary mortgage in my assets because it is considered an investment.
